Verval V. Smith, 80 of Atkins died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Rockridge Residential Care Center in Shellsburg. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 29, 2010 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Atkins with Rev. Douglas Woltemath officiating. David Pearson, 66, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Virginia Gay Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vinton following an extended illness.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Rodgers Park near Vinton.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Vinton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ronald Sumption officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Wayne Robert Fee, 80 of Vinton died Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Vinton Lutheran Home. In accordance with his wishes no public funeral services will be scheduled.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton with full military rites conducted by Iowa Military Funeral Honors and Geo. G. Luckey American Legion Post #57. A Memorial Fund has been established.
